Well, when William, Sara, Heather, and I decided to see The Lord of the Rings, Sara and Heather sat in the backseat of my car.  They decided to name some of the seatbelts.  At a later date, the rest were named.  The names mostly pertain to celebrities that they wish would hold them tight in a car...

Gandalf the Grey

Gandalf/Legolas
The driver's seatbelt is Gandalf.  This is because Sara and Heather joke around that I think Gandalf is hot. I told them "hell no" and that if I had to choose from The Lord of the Rings it would be Legolas. I happened to be driving that night, so my seatbelt became Gandalf/Legolas.

Jude Law

Jude Law/Saruman
The front passenger side is Jude. Heather named this one Jude Law after one of her (and my) favorite actors. I later told her it was also Saruman because I joke that she likes him. (she does like those "bad boy" types.)

Mr. Biggerstaff

Sean Biggerstaff
The rear passenger side seatbelt is Sean.  Sara named this one after one of her favorite actors.  He has been in Harry Potter and The Winter Guest.  Sara also said, "I bet he has a bigger staff!" that night. Move over Frodo.

Terry McGinnis

The rear driver's side seatbelt is Terry. This is Sara and Heather's favorite Batman, the one from Batman Beyond.  They both want to get rid of Dana and have Terry all to themselves.

a Snakey

What about the middle seat?  Well the middle back seatbelt is named Snakey.  Sara named it that because it looks kinda like a snake.  Not all cars have a Snakey, but all three of ours do.

Lex Luthor

This is Lex Luthor from Smallville.  He is the wild card.  If any one of us is not happy with who our seatbelt is, it automatically becomes Lex Luthor, whom we all like.  Only one person can have Lex at a time though.
